How does it all work?

 

Step 1: Contact us by phone or by email.

 

Step 2: We will ask you for some details so that we fully understand your requirements and can match you with the right tutor.

 

Step 3: We will send you a welcome pack containing further information about Get Smart Tuition, the services we provide and how it all works.

 

Step 4: With your permission, we will pass your details onto one of our experienced, DBS-checked tutors who will contact you to see if they can help.

 

Step 5: Tuition can start!

 

Step 6: We will send you an invoice for the tuition you have received each month. We would also like to hear how things are going so we may contact you from time to time to check you are happy with the service you are receiving.

 

Do I have to sign up for a set number of lessons each month, term or year?

No, you liaise directly with your tutor to decide exactly how much or how little tuition you want on a week by week basis and there are no payments required upfront.

 

How long does a lesson last?

For the vast majority of students lessons will usually last an hour. Some students may require longer or shorter sessions and you may find this changes the closer you get to important exams. You and your tutor can discuss what's best for you during the initial meeting and as your tuition progresses.

 

Where does the tuition take place?

This depends on the individual agreement you have with your tutor. It could be in your home or the tutor's home.

 

Do you offer small group tuition?

Some of our tutors are happy to teach small groups for a reduced fee per student. If this interests you, please contact us for more details.
